New mysteries are revealed, and some questions answered, in every episode of Kaleidoscope but nothing is completely answered until the audience actually knows what happens during the heist. However, especially on the first watch, “White” should be watched last as it is the skeleton key of the show. Kaleidoscope is unique for its non-linear layout, but Netflix does advise watching “White” last, which only is not needed when watching in a chronological order. The discovery of the stolen necklace leads to Roger’s immediate arrest and extended jail time. One, it shows who had outsmarted Roger, and two, it fully enacts revenge on Roger. When the FBI agents open Roger’s vault, it's revealed that Giancarlo Esposito's Leo has left the necklace in the vault. When Leo and Roger rob the Christmas auction 24 years prior, resulting in Leo’s arrest, Leo takes a ruby necklace.

However, another reason for his arrest is because of what Leo left in Roger’s personal vault at SLS Securities. Before the heist, the FBI finds out that Roger has faked his identity and built his business on fraud which is the main reason for his arrest, particularly as it links him to the crimes that he and Leo used to commit before their fallout. Him being robbed should not result in his arrest, but “Pink” shows he has been put in prison for 20 years. Throughout Kaleidoscope the audience is aware that Roger is not a good person, but he is consistently described as a clean businessman.
